The AST-10 pen type thermometer is ideal for anybody seeking an inexpensive probe thermometer with basic easy to use features. With its 150mm long 4mm diameter pointed probe it is perfect for use within the catering industry. Alternatively is can be used for simple laboratory tasks as it is well suited to taking readings from any liquid or semi-solid sample.

Able to record as low as -50°C it can record the lowest temperatures found in any catering establishment with fridges and freezers being well within its range. In addition it provides a very high maximum temperature of 300°C extending its use well beyond that of the kitchen.

Its features, whilst simple, offer superb value for money. A built in on/off button and auto power off feature ensure you can rely on a long battery life. The data hold function allows you keep the recorded value on screen for easy viewing without temperature fluctuation. In addition the product comes with a polycarbonate storage tube to protect the probe in a busy environment.
